Picking tomatoes at the farm

Italian, regular and cherry tomatoes are picked in the field, right off the vine. You choose the ones that are perfectly ripe, to eat fresh or for canning.

Sweet peppers, green or red, and hot peppers are also picked in the field at the same time.

The harvest moves with the summer heat. Call 450-460-7567 before you come to find out what's ready.

Choosing and storing tomatoes

A ripe tomato is evenly coloured, firm and gives slightly under your finger.

Keep them at room temperature, out of the sun: the fridge takes away their flavour.

Make a day of it

Stop at the farm stand for sweet corn picked every day, then take a break at the picnic area.
