Our story

Five generations of passion, a tradition of freshness.

The story of Les Légumes Charbonneau is first and foremost the story of a family with a passion for farming, passing its know-how down from generation to generation.

It all started in Sainte-Angèle-de-Monnoir, where the family's great-grandfather worked the land. His son, then Daniel Charbonneau, carried on the tradition. Today, Daniel, his son François and his grandson Thomas continue the work with the same pride.

Our promise is simple: produce that's fresh every day, harvested with care to keep its freshness, quality and flavour, starting with our sweet corn. Our farm stands keep us in direct touch with the people of our community, and we hope to pass this heritage on to future generations.

  1. The beginningThe family's great-grandfather works the land in Sainte-Angèle-de-Monnoir.
  2. 1974Daniel Charbonneau buys his parents' land, keeping the family business going.
  3. 1983The family opens the Verger de la Savane orchard in Saint-Hubert, and grows a wider range of seasonal fruit and vegetables.
  4. TodayDaniel, François and Thomas: five generations of work, passion and dedication to the land.
